    Ian Rosenblatt OBE, Founder & Senior Partner

    Ian is a distinguished lawyer and entrepreneur who founded Rosenblatt in 1989. Ian has extensive experience in critical court applications, injunctions and ancillary remedies and has worked on a wide spectrum of commercial matters including shareholder disputes, defamation, breach of trust and duty as well as securities litigation and litigation strategies in corporate takeovers.  His clients include executives, listed companies as well as corporate organisations and some of the UK’s better-known businesspeople and their organisations. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

    Jonathan is an award-winning former City firm managing partner, coach, advisor, speaker and author.  He qualified as a Solicitor in The City of London at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain in 1993. Practising in M&A and equity capital markets, he became a partner at thirty, managing partner at thirty-eight and spent the next ten years helping to transform RPC from a London insurance firm into an international, multi-disciplinary professional services business with over £100m in revenue.  He was also twice-named within The Lawyer’s Hot 100 lawyers in the UK. He is the author of 'How To Thrive In A Commercial Law Firm’ (published in 2024).

    Adil is a highly experienced commercial and operational executive with a career spanning multiple successful leadership roles across UK and international law firms, private equity, accountancy and investment banks, with a specific focus on turnaround and expansion. Adil’s career began in investment banking at NatWest Markets, HSBC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and RBS.     Tania is an expert litigator with over 30 years of experience and is a member of the Rosenblatt board.     Anthony Field, Partner

    Anthony trained at Rosenblatt, becoming a partner in 2008, and is a board director. He specialises in commercial disputes, company/shareholder disputes, unlawful means conspiracy claims, banking disputes, negligence claims (incl professional negligence) and regulatory investigations (incl by the FCA and SRA), solicitors’ compliance and anti-money laundering.     Elizabeth is a Partner specialising in Dispute Resolution and is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 2025. She specialises in complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes, handling litigation, arbitration, and adjudication.   • Ian Bean

    Ian Bean, Partner

    Ian is a dispute resolution partner with a diverse breadth of experience in complex litigation and asset tracing/recovery matters, often with a cross-border element. These matters frequently include the obtaining of interim relief for clients including asset freezing injunctions, together with preservation of evidence and third-party disclosure orders. He is also regularly instructed to coordinate and provide strategic advice to clients as part of action taken in common law jurisdictions other than England, including the Channel Islands, the Caribbean, Cyprus, Singapore and Hong Kong. Ian’s practice also has a concentration on banking and finance disputes with a particular focus on property acquisition finance and disputes relating to complex investment products. He also has experience in conducting major investigations for clients including those where potential fraud has arisen.

  • Sara Paradisi

    Sara Paradisi, Partner, International Arbitration

    Sara Paradisi co-leads the firm's International Arbitration team.  She has advised on major projects across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and South East Asia, with particular experience representing clients on oil & gas and petrochemical projects, thermal and gas-fired power plants, and offshore engineering projects.  Sara acts as counsel and advocate in international arbitrations and has represented parties in arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC Rules as well as UNCITRAL (ad hoc) and under the UK Arbitration Act 1996. She also regularly advises on the drafting of arbitration clauses in commercial and financial agreements.

  • Leonardo Carpentieri

    Leonardo Carpentieri, Partner, International Arbitration

    Leonardo is a Partner and co-leads the International Arbitration team.  He assists clients in both investment treaty and commercial arbitration proceedings. He has participated in arbitrations before the major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, the LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICSID, the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), and the PCA. His practice focuses on the construction and energy sectors, with a particular focus on Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.  He is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in England & Wales and as a French Avocat in Paris, France.  He is the former President of the Franco-British Lawyers Society for England and Wales.

    Tom has been at Rosenblatt for more than ten years, during which he has advised a broad range of clients from sovereign wealth entities, to British political parties, household name PLCs, companies in the financial services sector and small, dynamic British businesses. Tom solves existential, complex, high-value problems which often have an international element to them.     Catherine Hammerson-Jones, Partner

    Catherine is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team. She is a commercial litigation Solicitor, Barrister and a former Capital Markets Banker.  Catherine acts for a diverse range of clients in high value, complex and multi-jurisdictional litigation, ranging from financial services disputes incorporating Quincecare claims, fraud and asset recovery to contractual and company disputes, negligence claims and insolvency-related litigation. She advises corporations, insolvency practitioners, financial institutions and high net worth individuals on matters involving investment fraud and complex investigations, company law, regulatory matters, breaches of directors’/trustees’ duties and general financial and banking disputes.

    Christopher is a Corporate Partner at Rosenblatt with a broad cross-border practice across various sectors, including entertainment, media, and sports. He advises on M&A, private equity transactions, joint ventures, restructurings and securities offerings, alongside general corporate and limited liability partnership advisory work. He is used to working on high-profile and complex matters and advising founders, entrepreneurs and management teams in connection with private equity transactions, and on matters involving US counterparties.

    Dean is a Rosenblatt Dispute Resolution Partner, specialising in high value commercial litigation. He regularly handles complex banking, finance, director, and shareholder disputes, as well as multiparty actions, professional negligence claims and international arbitrations. Dean also represents family offices, manages cross-border disputes (across jurisdictions ranging from the US to east Asia) and also has expertise in mediations, fraud related allegations and securing interim remedies such as asset freezing injunctions.

    Anil Rajani, Consultant

    Anil is a Rosenblatt Dispute Resolution and Financial Crime team Consultant. With over 35 years of experience, he specialises in corporate fraud, white-collar crime, and regulatory matters. Anil represents individuals and organisations facing potential loss of livelihood and liberty, leveraging his extensive expertise in business investigations and governance. Anil has been regularly ranked in the legal directories and has articles published in the national press. He has often provided expert commentary on white collar crime issues. He can advise on both civil and criminal proceedings and is regarded as an expert in representing clients who are victims of criminal wrongdoing and those that are facing proceedings.  He known for his expertise in providing advice in POCA, AML, Sanctions and Corporate fraud.

    Neil Sampson, Consultant, International

    Neil is a Rosenblatt Consultant, focused on international dispute resolution. He joined the firm in 1994 and, as an experienced business lawyer, has a particular specialism in international dispute resolution. Sampson is also recognised for his expertise in China-related matters, serving as Head of International Business at Rosenblatt and on the leadership board of the China-Britain Business Council.

  • Lucy Hamilton-James

    Lucy Hamilton-James, Legal Director

    Lucy joined Rosenblatt’s Dispute Resolution team in May 2012. Lucy has extensive experience in high-value, complex and multi-jurisdictional litigation with a focus on financial service claims, commercial disputes, breach of duty claims and company/shareholder disputes, with a particular focus on those at board level. Her work has included numerous lengthy trials, urgent court applications and injunctions.     Tracy Tsao, Associate

    Tracy is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt, having completed her training contract at the firm. Tracy's work includes acting on complex commercial disputes in the High Court and Commercial Court, across multiple jurisdictions. Tracy has particular experience defending jurisdiction challenges and both obtaining and defending interim remedies such as urgent injunctive relief and freezing orders. Prior to starting her training contract, Tracy worked as a Paralegal at Slaughter and May.

    Madeleine is an Associate in Rosenblatt's Dispute Resolution team, joining the firm in November 2020. She specialises in multi-jurisdictional disputes, civil fraud, shareholder disputes, and professional negligence. With over seven years of litigation experience, Madeleine also has expertise in mediation and arbitration, acting for clients across sectors like aviation and luxury vehicles.

    Jacques is a Dispute Resolution Associate at Rosenblatt. His experience spans the full range of dispute resolution, covering cross-border commercial arbitration under ICC and LCIA Rules, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court litigation, and alternative dispute resolution fora. Recent cases have centred on complex contract disputes, director and shareholders’ disputes, intellectual property disputes, and asset tracing. Clients have included an international sportswear outfitters, a telecommunications company, a leisure trust, a prominent Middle Eastern media company, and a Spanish rolling stock manufacturer. Jacques also has a keen interest in artificial intelligence, exploring its regulatory impact and potential applications within the legal sector through various thought pieces.

He graduated from King’s College London with a degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction. He advises companies, directors and high net worth individuals across a range of sectors. George’s cases include claims arising from breaches of contract, breaches of trust, breaches of fiduciary duty, unfair prejudice, misrepresentation and negligence.

    Emma Booth, Solicitor

    Emma is a solicitor at Rosenblatt, having qualified in September 2024. As a trainee Emma gained experience in Real Estate, Corporate and Employment seats, before choosing to qualify into dispute resolution.  Emma has experience working across a broad range of high value and complex commercial disputes up to Court of Appeal level. Emma also has experience in international arbitration, having worked on an arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce related to alleged breach of contract as a trainee, and of large scale corporate investigations.

    Annabel qualified in dispute resolution in 2021. Annabel has extensive experience of company and commercial disputes including complex, high-value multi-jurisdictional cases. Annabel also specialises in Insolvency Law and has considerable experience of Property related disputes, including Landlord and Tenant matters. Annabel often engages with Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation and arbitration, acting for a variety of clients across different sectors.

His experience covers most aspects of dispute resolution, including cross-border commercial arbitration under LCIA Rules, High Court litigation, and alternative dispute resolution procedures. Recent cases have centred on claims involving complex contractual disputes, professional negligence and recovery of unpaid debt. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Tom gained experience in litigation and restructuring teams at magic and silver circle firms.
