He has represented companies, directors, liquidators, funds, insurers and high net worth individuals across a wide range of industry sectors. His cases have included claims arising from breach of contract, negligence, civil fraud, debt actions, breach of trust, misrepresentation, unfair prejudice, professional negligence and freezing and disclosure orders.
Noteworthy recent experience includes, advising a multinational corporation on US criminal and regulatory investigations; successfully striking out the claims of corporate claimants in the High Court for ITI Capital Limited; recovering funds from Lebanese banks in complex legal proceedings in the High Court; advising MCML Limited in a FCA investigation, lasting over four years; and acting on a high-profile appeal by a foreign tax authority in the Court of Appeal, for the respondent, ED&F Man Capital Markets Limited (previously, one of The Lawyer’s “Top 10 appeals”).
